Senior Lecturer of Assessment in Education at the Department of Educational Research and Didactics at the University of La Laguna. Bachelor of Science in Education (1983) and Psychology (1993), PhD in Psychology (1998) from the University of La Laguna. She teachs in Master’s degree of Psychopedagogical Intervention at the Faculty of Education, and the Master’s degree of Cognitive Neuroscience and Specific Educational Needs at the Faculty of Psychology. Since 2012 participates in the national program of accreditation of the National Agency for Quality Assessment and Accreditation. His research has focused on the teaching of reading and Specific Learning Disabilities. His current research interests include the assessment of cultural and linguistically diverse students.
