Diploma in Speech and Language therapy at the University of La Laguna (ULL) in 2010, having obtained The Award for Excellence in academic performance by the ULL and The National Award for Excellence in Academic Performance (known in Spanish as “Premios Nacionales de Fin de Carrera de Educación Universitaria” since 2012) by the Ministry of Education (Government of Spain). Master in Cognitive Neuroscience and Specific Educational Needs in 2011. She has a contract as trainer research from Formación de Profesorado Universitario (FPU) from the Ministry of Education. She works as a researcher and university teacher (with the venia docenci) in grade of Speech and in a postgraduate specialization in Teaching Reading from ULL. Currently, she is a PhD Student in Cognitive Neuroscience and Education and focusing its research on learning difficulties in early grades, especially in writing and in Curriculum Based Measurement in collaboration with The University of Texas at Austin (USA).
